I have read several of the stories in "Carol of the Tales" and have found them to be a nice variety of fun, inspiring, thoughtful, and enjoyable. This is a great way to take a few minutes each day as Christmas approaches to pause and rediscover the beauty of this the season by taking a quick peek into why we have the season in the first place. Because Christmas carols have evolved and been shared over centuries, Carol of the Tales provides a snapshot of how people have lived their lives, embracing and using different kinds of technology. What has remained consistent for past decades is the love and generosity of the human spirit.

Carol of the Tales shares stories of love, compassion, friendship, service. It showcases people making the best of bad situations and going above and beyond for one another. These are awesome reminders of why we celebrate Christmas and give families a few minutes to take a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the season to embrace the real reason for.

In addition--the authors are donating  the proceeds of this book to a fabulous organization that will help those with autism. Please support this great cause by buying Carol of the Tales and sharing these stories with those you love.

To kick off the release of the second anthology, a Christmas concert will be held at American Fork Junior High on December 7th, 2013. The concert will feature the Saltaires Barbershop Chorus. All proceeds from this concert will be donated to charity as well. Purchase: Tickets for the Concert: https://tickettool.net/en/index/eventpopup/b54dab4bd0a13fa6975068f4784dfaa5

FROGS & TOADS by Stacey Lynn Carroll BLOG TOUR

On my blog today I am spotlighting a fun book I am reading: Frogs & Toads by Stacy Lynn Carroll

This book is the story of four sisters (Mary, Rachel, Elizabeth and  Dana) whose last name happens to be Princess. Their individual Prince Charmings turn out to be losers, and are kicked to the curb before they can influence their five daughters in a bad way. The five Princess cousins: Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and twins: Aurora and Ariel go on separate journeys to discover who their fathers are in typical princess style ... together.

Their fathers have differing reactions when discovering they have teenage daughters they have never seen. Add in the teens' own personal Prince Charmings (or lack of said princes) and the story is one most every young lady can relate to. Stacy Lynn Carroll has weaved together an entertaining tale with many twists and turns. Modern day girls who embrace their memorable names and make them their own. After reading this book, you'll never think of princesses in quite the same way. :)

 Blurb:

One kiss can change the future...for better or for worse.

Belle and her cousins have conquered their fears. Now as they navigate their way through the dating world, they start to see a "happily ever after" on the horizon. But when an unexpected school assignment forces them to examine their past, the Princess sisters realize they have a lot of questions about the fathers they've never met. Secrets are revealed, long lost family members are discovered, and now the girls must decide who belongs in their future and who should be kept in the past.
